about

This is a Cyberluddism classic, but also one of the songs that I've never played live. This version without distorted game boy emulators should open it up to a complete new audience...
To make it not too generic a bit of psychedelic reversed guitar solos and stuff like that are added here and there...

lyrics

go to work and do your job
go home and watch TV
go shopping and go drinking
consume consume consume

this is the world as it should be
this the the only world that could be
and it will only get better if you
consume consume consume

don't you ever wonder
if this is the world as it should be
if this is the only world that could be
is it really getting better

make your money do your job
sleep well so you can work hard
spend your money, economy
consume consume consume

stupefied paralysed
getting totally numb
by the rhytm of the machine
consume consume consume

don't you ever wonder
if this is the world as it should be
if this is the only world that could be
is it really getting better
